Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Student Chapter

The BIS Student Chapter at Basaveshwar Engineering College serves as a platform for students to understand the significance of Indian Standards (IS Codes) in engineering design, manufacturing, construction, testing, and industrial practices. Through academic and co-curricular activities, students gain exposure to national standards, quality management practices, and the role of BIS in promoting excellence and sustainable development.
