Welcome to Civil Engineering at BEC. Since its inception, the department has been committed to nurturing engineers who design, build, and sustain the infrastructure that shapes society. Our academic and research activities span structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation, environmental engineering, water resources, surveying, and emerging areas in sustainable construction and smart infrastructure. Our students learn through practical exposure, fieldwork, laboratory experiments, design projects, and industry interaction—because civil engineering is best understood by applying knowledge to real-world challenges.
