Overview

Electronics and Computer Engineering blends electronics engineering with computer science to design, develop and integrate innovative technologies across hardware, software and IT. Established in the academic year 2024-25, the department offers a 4-year B.E. programme with an intake of 60 students, taught by highly qualified faculty whose average teaching experience is 27 years. It is housed in a spacious new building with well-equipped VLSI, IoT, and computer laboratories of more than 60 computers, faculty rooms and a department office, all served by pervasive high-quality wired and Wi-Fi networks. The department aims to impart engineering education that meets the needs of society, industry and research, developing professionals with ethical values and societal concern who are equipped for both electronics/electrical industries and software companies.
