The Library is housed in a spacious building having 1970 sq.m plinth area and has over 1, 36,000 volumes and 43133 titles related to Science and all branches of Engineering. Library and information Centre subscribes 9 electronic databases, Viz, IEEE, ASCE, Springer, Science Direct, Taylor & Francis, and Proquest under VTU Consortium. More than 10300 E-Journals & 6514 Conference Proceedings, 160 print National journals and 3 print International Journals are available to the faculty, students, and other users through annual subscription. And also have perpetual access towards 24351 Science and Engineering e-books of Springer, Taylor & Francis, and 169 Pearson Computer Science e-books collection. Handbooks, Standards, Manuals, Encyclopedias, Technical Reports, Conference Proceedings, Back volumes, ISTE learning materials, projects reports, Ph.D. thesis etc are also available for reference. The Library is automated with Easylib software upgraded with 4.3.2 version. OPAC facility through touch screen monitor and EPAC facility through intranet have made the Library user-friendly. Digital Library, CD services, VTU, NDL and DELNET memberships for E-Resources, book banks, reading rooms, reprographic facility are the additional resources of the library and information center.
