Department of IT is organizing a college level competition on 27-04-2008 to explore "TECH-DESIGN" skills of students.

Department of MCA

1. Department of MCA requires qualified lecturers and instructors. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates(MCA/M.Tech. for lecturers and Diploma(CS, EC, Electrical). Last date for applications: 31st March 2008.
2. Alumni of MCA of our college are hereby asked to send their details (name, batch, address of the company presently working for, a line of advise for juniors, mail id/group id). Also an article (technical/experience in the industry/memories of this college) for the 10th year celebration of the department. Alumni are requested to donate the books/CDs to the department library opened on 10th March 2008. The name of the donor will be printed on the book.
3. Department library, named after S. R. Ranganathan (Father of Library Science in India) is inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. R. N. Herkal, on 10th March 2008. Librarian, deans and HODs of CSE and ISE graced the inaugural function. The library contains about 200 books and CDs.
4. SPIRIT-2008, a cultural and technical event organized by Department of MCA is scheduled on 29th March 2008. It is a platform for the degree students in and around Bagalkot, to showcase their talents.
5. A Training programme on Java, under the banner of SPARK(the department association), is going on for IV Semester MCA students, by Mr. G. B. Chittapur and Mr. S. M. Magi. It was scheduled from 1st March 2008 to 14th March 2008.
6. A training programme on Oracle and SQL, under the banner of SPARK(the department association), is scheduled from 15th March 2008 to 22nd March 2008.
