Specialized Areas: Foundry, IC Engines, hear Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Design Engineering, Production Technology, TQM, Management, Air Conditioning and CAD/CAM.

The Department has been established since the inception of the college and has grown in size and strength over the last 40 years. The Department has well qualified and experienced faculty members who have the specializations in various areas like heat Transfer, IC Engine, Fluid Mechanics, Energy Engineering, Design Engineering, Strength of Materials, Foundry, Melting, Welding, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Metrology and Instrumentation. The Workshop has all the facilities pertaining to the basic trades. Machine shop includes a CNC trainer. The software packages include Auto CAD, ANSYS, Pro-E and Max Studio etc. are made available for the benefit of students.
