The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is
one of the pioneering department of the college to
offer B.E (CSE) Course in the state of Karnataka. It
has a network of almost about 150 computers running
various platforms such as Linux, Windows-NT, Novel
Netware and Windows 2000 operating systems. Most of
the modern computer language processors are also
available for the students. The Department has also
procured the latest state-of-the-art tols for
applications developments such as Visual Studio,
MS-Office, Oracle, 3D Home and the like. Separate
Digital Electronics and Hardware Labs are also
established for the students. The Department has many
research publications in various areas of Information
Technology. The areas in which the Department
specialize include image processing, knowledge based
system development, Pattern recognition, Natural
language etc. The Department gas executed many AICTE
sponsored laboratory modernization and research
projects.
