Department of Automobile Engineering:

         Specialised Areas: Automotive CAD, Vehicle Testing and servicing, Computerized Auto Scanning and Reconditioning, Motor Transport Management, Vehicle Dynamics and Body Engineering, IC Engines, Alternate Fuels and Emission Testing.

The Department has a built up area of 11,000 sq.ft. comprising of eight laboratories. The advanced equipments like computerized Engine Analyzer, Wheel Aligner, Balancer, Smoke Meter, Four Gas Exhaust Analyzer, Two-Wheeler chassis Dynamometer, Micro Fuel Injection Calibration unit, Pneumatic Tooling Fuel Injection Calibration Unit are available, Maruti Authorized Service Centre. Emission Testing Center (Govt. Approved), Driving School, JCB Earth Movers Servicing Center, Micro Pumps Servicing Center and Two-Wheeler Servicing Center, Three-Wheeler and Four-Wheeler driving Schools serve the community in this region. The students get hands-on automated pneumatic tooling systems programmes for the public on the latest issues like environmental protection and pollution control.

The staff members are also involved in organizing the programmes for self-employed of rural masses and to provide support to the backward and minority communities with the support of Govt. agencies like SIDBI, DIC, SWD & BCMO .
